We have enjoyed many Winter and Christmas activities this week alongside our learning.

On Monday, we were lucky enough to watch the rehearsal of KS1’s nativity performance. It made us feel immense pride for our fellow school mates (and it was lovely for some of us to see our younger siblings perform). It also reminded us about the nativity story in Christianity and will support our learning later in the week when we think about Herod’s perspective of the story. We look forward to our big performance in Summer term.

In Maths, we have been working hard on converting and comparing units of measure. Specifically, we focused on capacity, length and weight. We used prompts to remind us of the conversions but could do many from our own memory.

In D.T, we have been completing our evaluation stage of the design process. After making our spring rolls on Friday, we evaluated them. Some of opus decided if we were to make them again, we would change some elements of the making process.
