To all parents and carers,

You will receive on Friday our half termly newsletter- full of information from the term we have just have and to give you dates for the term ahead so you know what is coming up for you to attend.

On Friday 12th April we have our wonderful Year 3 and 4 productions for the school. They have only just begun practising but the singing and dancing is already breath-taking. I cannot wait.

On Tuesday 4th April we had parent forum. Only a couple of parents attended but the feedback was just sensational. I appreciate those parents taking the time to come and say how happy they are with Waterside and what we do. The parent survey results will be live on the website on Friday 12th April. Please send your response in. It helps us to improve our school further. Should you ever have a query you can contact me via the office email office@watersideprimary.org.uk orjknowles@watersideprimary.org.uk

On Wednesday 3rd April, we had the honour to attend the production of War Horse with over 40 pupils in the evening. The show was absolutely sensational but the bonus was certainly the children meeting Sir Michael Morpurgo himself. I am delighted to say he has signed a special note to us as a school and we are hoping after Easter he will visit school to sign our wall of essential texts.

The school has undergone some work within school and therefore on Monday 29th April 1pm we are opening the school to parents for you to come and see the new walls and what we have planned for your children to help improve the school further. Come along – we would love to show you around. We also have a drop in session every Friday 3.30 – 4pm. You can get even more updates on how well your child is progressing.
