In our English lessons this week, we have been planning and then completing our independent write - a letter from Paddington to Aunt Lucy, telling her all about our exciting adventures in London.  We have been focusing on using the correct punctuation and a range of sentence types within our letter.

In Maths we continued to practise subtracting two digit numbers from two digit numbers, using a variety of different methods.

This week, each morning, we have been super busy completing our Maths and Reading quizzes.  Well done to all of the Puffins for showing determination, readiness and respect throughout the duration of the quizzes.

In Science we looked at the lifecycle of a frog and made comparisons with other lifecycles that we have previously studied.

The Puffins enjoyed learning about Neil Armstong in History.  In groups, the children selected one significant person that we had studied that they felt was the most significant to their group and presented their reasons to the rest of the class.  A great effort by everyone.

Congratulations to the Puffins for being the KS1 class with the highest attendance from the previous week - let's try to keep this up!
