This week we have finished writing our missing poster for Mother Owl. The children blew us away with their independence and the skills they used. Many included the conjunction and to extend their sentences. This is a new skill we have learnt.
We then moved onto instruction writing, where we have identified features and begun to understand chronology.
To begin the week, we focused on fact families. We found we could use the same three digits to create eight different number facts. Then the children completed short maths quizzes to show us what they have learnt since September.
This week we have begun to practise our Key Stage One performance. The children have begun to get on stage and put actions to the words.
Performance tickets will be handed out on Monday the 5th December.
