We were lucky enough to have a special visitor in school to teach us how to use our iPads for learning. We used an app called KeyNote to create our own story of Hansel and Gretel using pictures, audio and text. We had SO much fun and showed our visitor what an amazing school we are! Well…

In computing today we used the I pads to help us search safely online. We used purple mash to search different topics and apply filters. 

Sharks proved their understanding of staying safe online by playing and creating games where we collected safe online content such as firewalls and avoided dangerous items such as PEGI 18.

Year Five Dolphins really enjoyed designing their own environments for their games in Computing this week!

In computing we have been using simulation programs to help us problem solve and evaluate our decisions. Today we were in training to become astronauts, we had to go through a series of tasks to help our comrades.

As part of our DT topic ‘Floor Robots’, Sharks class have created an input for our Bee-Bot before observing its output. We were very impressed with how clever Bill the Bee-Bot was following our input!
