Hello and welcome to my Year 1 bubble! I am so excited to be teaching the children and am loving being back in school! 

Year 1 is currently split over two bubbles, the staff in this bubble are Miss French and Mrs Dove. We can't wait to have you in our bubble with us!

School looks and feels very different but that's ok. Everybody who is already in school and in our bubble is having a fantastic time! Our learning is the same as what you have been doing at home, so you won't feel like you don't know what's going on! You will have your own workstation, tray and equipment!

Below is a little video showing you some of the changes in our classroom (the biggest on being, we are currently in Otter's Classroom!) Underneath the video I have put the photos explaining them! 

The first thing you will see when you come to our classroom bubble is the door. We have put lots of posters on the door to show you how to keep safe in school and some of the new rules we are following!

As soon as you come into school you will wash your hands in the toilet. Throughout the day you will wash you hands at the classroom sink! We keep it nice and clean. We use the hand soap and make sure we wash them for 20 seconds! Our favourite way to do this is to sing Happy Birthday!

This will be the biggest change you will notice when you are in school. We have had to change the way the classroom looks. Most of your friends are sat with one other person at their workstation. The seat you sit in is your seat all day every day! 

You will be given your very own tray full of everything you will need! As you can see you have a whiteboard and pen, your own pencil, ruler and glue stick! Even your own set of colouring pencils! This stops us having to share all of our resources! The children in school love having their own things on their table. 

At playtimes we have our own set of equipment just for our bubble! It is great!! We have everything in there! Tennis rackets, basketball, hockey sticks and hula hoops! The children love it!
