Good morning everybody, I hope you are all refreshed and ready for a busy day of learning. Your home learning yesterday was amazing. We are so proud of the effort you are putting in at home. Remember to take a picture of each completed task and send it to your teacher so we can see your amazing efforts and give you feedback, just as we would in school.
Let us begin our morning with a wiggle! Jump up and warm up with Dr Nickerbockers Brain Break
It is now time to talk about our day. Discus the weather, season, month and the days of the week with your child. What day was it yesterday, what day is it today and tomorrow?
Do they know what Season we are in? How many seasons there are and what the four seasons are? Can they tell you one fact about each of the seasons? Sing our song to help you.
We have all been working very hard with our letters and have been practicing every day. We are improving each time and it is important we practice our letter formation. Before we write letters every child will need to complete the pre-writing shapes. With your child see if they can draw the pre-writing shapes.
If they are confident with this, practice writing their names.
Some children may be able to write their name with good control and letter formation. Therefore, choose the letters your child is struggling with during writing and ask them to practice these.
