Hello, Ducklings.
I hope you are well and ready for our busy day of home learning together.
We shall start our day as we do in school, with a dance to wake us up!
Get up and get moving!
Excellent.
Now, I hope you are ready for some learning.
Let's begin with the day of the week. Sing our days of the week song to help us.
Yesterday it was Wednesday so today it is...
Yesterday it was Wednesday so today it is Thursday!
Well done if you got that. Give yourself a pat on the back!
Let's have another great day.
Next, I would like you to think about the weather.
What season are we in? What will you wear if you go outside today?
Have a look outside and discuss with your grown up.
Super!
Now it's time to practise our Nursery Rhyme of the week.
If you are learning all day with us, I would like you to practise this in the morning AND after lunch please.
This week is Children's Mental Health Awareness Week so some of our activities have been based around promoting children's mental health.
In aid Children's Mental Health Awareness Week we will 'Dress to Express' tomorrow.
Although you are at home and wearing your own clothes anyway, I would like you to choose an especially favourite outfit to wear tomorrow - what makes you feel AMAZING when you wear it? It might be something colourful or some type of fancy dress or it could be a different hair style. Make sure you send a photo with a short explanation of what you have chosen and why. How does it make you feel?
Grown-ups I will leave a link to the Place2Be website below for you to have a look at if you are interested and please always remember that should you ever feel that you need any support I am always here to help.
Please ensure that you all complete the Phonics and Maths tasks first before any of the other tasks!
Enjoy your day and please remember to upload your learning via class dojo portfolios throughout the day as you are completing it so that I can provide feedback throughout the day.
