Due to Covid-19 restrictions our sporting events have been temporarily put on hold.

We are proud to still be working with Bee Active to provide P.E within school - and as soon as we have more guidance from the government we will keep you all updated on competitions and sporting events taking place.

21st June - Top Links Sporting Festival

On a hot, humid Wednesday afternoon, 15 lucky Octopus Class children were selected to represent Waterside at the annual sports festival held at Northwood Stadium.

Children chose to represent the USA as their country for the festival, as that links with our Encompass Curriculum learning.

We had a super time at Northwood, taking part in a basketball and cricket session led by sports leaders from local high schools and colleges.

Look at how much fun we had, while keeping fit at the same time!

16th June - Sports Day

Thank you to all parents who came to show their support for the KS1 and KS2 Sports Day. A fantastic morning was had by all and it was great to see the children showing such determination, respect and excellence as sports stars and spectators.

If you have any parent feedback regarding sports day, please speak to Miss Brindley, Sports Leader using the contact option within this page.

18th May 2017

Nine lucky Year 1 children attended the Fitzy Fox Festival at Fenton Manor Sports Complex. The children took part in a wide range of sporting activities, alongside other local school children, including golf, obstacle courses, hockey, curling, javelin and team agility challenges.

Look at how much fun we had in the photos below!
