We will start as we always do, by recognising our own name.
By now your child should be beginning to recognise their own name from a small selection of different names .
To make this a little trickier you might want to write some more name cards that look similar to their own names.
This will ensure that they are looking at their whole name rather than just selected letters.
Next, I would like you to recap the letter sounds video. See if you can join in with the words and the actions.
Next we are going to play silly soup.
This time we are going to play it a little differently.
We are going to play Silly Soup with rhyming pairs.
You will need a bowl and a spoon.
If you don't have these things don't worry - you can use your arms to pretend.
I would like you to use your rhyming pairs cards to put into your silly soup.
Choose one rhyming card from your pile of cards and then see if you can think of and find the matching card to put them in as a pair. Don't forget to sing our silly rhyming soup song each time you mix.
Send me a short video of you singing the silly rhyming soup song and saying the different matching pairs cards as you place them in.
