We have been given a supply of cornflakes and rice krispies to share with the children and their families. Children will be bringing home a box of cereal at the end of term, one per family. We have also been told the dates on the boxes can be extended by 4 weeks if you don’t use them immediately.
If your children don’t normally eat cereal, why not use them for some home baking?
This recipe will work with Rice Krispies as well, or why not add mini marshmallows for an extra treat?
50 grams Butter. 75 grams Cornflakes.
4 tablespoons Golden Syrup. 100 grams dark chocolate
Melt together the syrup, butter, and cooking chocolate, over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the cornflakes. Spoon into cupcake cases. Chill in fridge until set.
