Our Favourite day, PE day! Last week your PE pictures were great! I hope you had lots of fun joining in with Joe. I know Mr Franklin would be super proud of you. So, let us go and get changed into our PE clothes and get active!
Did you get changed by yourself?
Ask your child, why do we have PE in school? Why is it important to exercise? Why do we warm up first?
We will start with our warm up to stretch our muscles and get our heart pumping. Put your hand on your chest, can you feel it? Is it fast or slow?
Are you ready for a big workout! Try your best and join in You may need a little bit of space for this activity, there is lots of jumping and stretching.
Cool Down exercise
Yoga is a great way to stretch the muscles and calm down after an active lesson. Enjoy this ‘outdoor’ yoga theme to cool down. This is a long yoga session so you may want to decide how long is enough.
Can you see how your body has changed? How is your breathing? What is your temperature like?
Well after all that exercise it is definitely time for some food to boost our energy back up. Are you having a healthy lunch today? You will need plenty of water to hydrate. Enjoy your lunch and I will see you this afternoon
