We ended the Autumn Term with 97.1% attendance


Time to practice you numbers 0- 5, 5-10 or 11-20. Ask your child if they can recognise the numbers. Point to the numbers randomly and pick up the speed to see how well they know them.



 Now see if they can write their numbers. If your child is confident with this, tell them a number to write without looking at any prompts.



Today in maths, we will be focusing on 2D and 3D shapes. From our starters you will know your child’s abilities with shape and weather they are working on 2D or 3D shape.

Look at the picture below. What shapes can you see? Can you tell me some properties of the shape you can see? Is it tall, round, small, wide?

Example: A square has 4 sides which are all equal.
