Friday 5th Feb

Hello, Ducklings.

I hope you are well and ready for our busy day of home learning together.

Today is 'Dress to Express" day for Childrens Mental Health Awareness week.

I hope you have come dressed in your favourite clothes with lots of lovely colours.

Make sure you send a photo for us to see.

We shall start our day as we do in school, with a dance to wake us up!

Get up and get moving!

Now, I hope you are ready for some learning.

Let's begin with the day of the week. Sing our days of the week song to help us.

Yesterday it was Wednesday so today it is...

Yesterday it was Thursday so today it is Friday!

Well done if you got that. Give yourself a pat on the back!

Next, I would like you to think about the weather.

What season are we in? What will you wear if you go outside today?

Have a look outside and discuss with your grown up.

Now it's time to practise our Nursery Rhyme of the week.

If you are learning all day with us, I would like you to practise this in the morning AND after lunch please.

As it is Mental Health Awareness week, some of our activities today will be based around this. smiley

Again, I would love to see a photograph of the outfit and hairstyle you have chosen for our dress to express day.

I will share a photo of our class later on today for you to see ours.

I have left a link for the Place2be website below for you grown-ups to have a look at if you wish.

Please remember, I am always here should you ever have any worries or concerns throughout your child's learning journey.

Please ensure that you all complete the Phonics and Maths tasks first before any of the other tasks!

Enjoy your day and please remember to upload your learning via class dojo portfolios throughout the day as you are completing it so that I can provide feedback throughout the day.
