Afternoon Task

In Nursery this week we are learning about the different animals that live in the Antarctica. Have a look at the photographs attached below to see the different animals.

The Antarctica is the South Pole and home to lots of different penguins.

There are no polar bears in the Antarctica- they live in the North Pole- the Arctic (we might learn about that next week).

I would like you to have a watch of the very short videos below to learn a little bit about the penguins.

I would like you to send me a very short video telling me something that you have learned about penguins- for example what do they eat? how do they move around? Can they fly? Do they have wings or flippers?

Then I would like you to use use your toys to create a home for a penguin- make sure you send me a photograph. I can't wait to see.

Have a look at the animals- you do not need to print this just have a look at the different animals. :-)

I will also attach some colouring that you might want to enjoy. This task is optional.

Finally, I will leave you with a lovely penguin story to finish off our busy day of learning.

I hope you enjoy. We are missing you all lots in Nursery.

See you online again tomorrow.
